Up, up, up and away by Revd Roger Reece
Up, Up, Up! Will I be proud? Roger Reece writes....
Our treatment of others in the home, at work, or at play is our invitation for similar treatment. In fact, our every action, be it overt or covert is noted by someone. We are always teaching someone how we treat us.
Anger is a seductive teacher. Unwanted tension, missed opportunities, stifled growth, are all we can expect if we're trapped by anger. Our chances for creative fulfilment will be unnoticed when our attention is sapped by anger. But we can change our basic response to life. All it takes is a decision.
Just as powerful as negative behaviour is a positive, friendly approach to situations and person. We can decide to love life. And we'll find that smiles invite smiles. Respect generates respect. A serene attitude lessons tensions in others. Each of us is responsible for our own actions, and we each have the power to positively influence all experiences we share with others
Quote
"A soft answer turneth away wrath but grievous words stir anger."-Proverbs
Thought:
How I'm treated today will mirror how I'm treating others. Will I be proud?

Love story!
Once upon a time, there was an island where all feeling lived. Happiness, Sadness, Knowledge, and all of the others, including Love. However, one day it was announced to the couples that the island would sink, so all prepared their boats and left. Love was the only one who stayed. Love wanted to stay until it started sinking. When Love was almost sinking, he decided to ask for help.
Richness was passing by Love in a beautiful boat, Love said "Richness, can you take me with you?" Richness answered, "No, I can't. There are a lot of gold and silver in my boat. There is no place for you."
Love decided to ask vanity who was also passing by "Vanity, please help me"! "I can't help you Love. You are all wet and can probably damage my boat." Vanity answered.
Sadness was close by so love asked for help, "Sadness, let me go with you." "Oh .... Love, I am so sad that I prefer to go alone!" Happiness passed by Love too, but she was so happy that she did not listen when Love called her!
Suddenly, there was a voice "Come Love, I will take you." it was an elder. When they arrived to the other side, Love asked Knowledge who was the elder. "It was Time."
